Contact and Appointment Scheduling
Because many of our examinations are complex, scheduling an appointment is essential! Please understand that this is necessary. It also helps us provide the best possible care!
The more you can tell us when scheduling, the better! We can then plan the necessary additional examinations more accurately and save you time!
Since examinations vary considerably depending on the question at hand, we do not yet offer online booking. Depending on the clinical question, our medical assistant will suggest the most suitable doctor.

You are welcome to send us an email at info@neuropraxis-wertheim.de . Please include a phone number where we can reach you easily. We will contact you promptly and advise you! A valid phone number is essential for appointment scheduling.
As a security measure, we do not open email attachments from unknown senders (except .pdf) and do not accept storage media such as USB sticks. These may contain malware that can severely damage our sensitive practice equipment!
IDANA - Digital Medical History Form
With IDANA software, we offer a convenient new way for you to fill in the medical history form and various other documents at home and submit them to us digitally.
Please bring your previous medical records and medication plan!
This is especially important if you have previously received neurological or psychiatric treatment. It saves us considerable effort and reduces your waiting time at the practice. Reviewing previous records also serves your safety: we can see whether there were difficulties with certain medications in the past, and we can coordinate all our suggestions with your current medications. All documents will be returned to you immediately.
For certain conditions, such as chronic headaches, we will send you a diary by email (or by post on request) when scheduling your appointment, so you can document your symptoms for 2-3 weeks. Please remember to bring this headache diary to your appointment!
Our Waiting Times
Waiting Time for Appointments
By the time you visit us, you may have already waited several weeks for your appointment. We receive so many appointment requests that we cannot fulfil them as quickly as we would like!
We see the strong interest in our practice as recognition of our work so far. Thank you for your trust!
The waiting time for an appointment can be 4-5 months depending on the examination.
If you have some flexibility with timing, we can add you to our waiting list and contact you when short-notice appointments become available!
If you are unable to keep an appointment, please cancel by phone at least 24 hours before the appointment, preferably earlier. Waiting times at specialist practices are partly so long because many patients unfortunately let appointments lapse without cancelling.
If you have found a quicker appointment elsewhere, something has come up, or the original concern has resolved itself: please just call briefly to cancel!
Waiting Time at the Practice
The time spent at our practice may also seem long to you. You will usually first see one of our highly trained medical assistants, who are the heart and soul of our practice and provide excellent support to us doctors!
When our medical assistants perform examinations before the doctor’s consultation, these are always tailored to your specific concern and adjusted to your current symptoms on the day of the visit. All examinations are coordinated with us doctors and help us better understand your health situation and provide better care.
Please plan sufficient time for your visit! Due to emergencies, delays can always occur. Some technical examinations alone require significant time. A brain wave measurement (EEG), for example, takes about 45 minutes, and together with occasionally necessary memory tests, an hour can pass quickly!
We do not practice 2-minute medicine! When a concern requires longer consideration, or more detailed explanations are needed, we take that time, even if the schedule is already very full. Everyone benefits from this approach!
1 hour, sometimes 2 hours with all examinations, at our practice may seem long. We want to understand you and your concern and help you as best we can!
